SI vs SII oil pickup tube

Accidentally ordered an SII pickup tube for my SI. Will it still work ok? Parts numbers are not the same: N3R1-14-240 vs N3H1-14-240 respectively.
My understanding is the oil pans are different but the oil pickup o-rings and mounting points are the same?

Called Atkins this morning and they said the newer pickup tube is not compatible with the SI oil pan.

SI blocks are indistinguishable from SII blocks With the exception of, SI doesn't have the 4 bole mains penetrated/tapped, nor does it have the other 6 head stud openings bored and tapped. Concerning regardless of whether they are spread. I've just really seen them spread (essentially mine are). So I can't say without a doubt in the event that there were both.

^^sounds more like your AI done went full-tard

the pictures on the Atkins website aren’t necessarily any more accurate than their claim of it being a true Mazda part.

What the heck!! 4 bolt mains not drilled, head studs bored and tapped? My Rotor Fu is missing something.
