Side Exit Exhaust on lowered 8

Side Exit Exhaust on lowered 8
Hey guys I'm contemplating a side exit exhaust for my 8, kind of like the ones on the 99 mustang Roush (pictured below). My car is lowered though. The setup I want to use is a 3" resonator after the header, after that a "y" pipe splitting the 3" piping to 2.25" to the sides, then a smaller resonator for each side and finally a silencer for both sides.
Looking into resonator and silencer diameters the smallest I could find that might work were 4" in diameter. This would give me zero ground clearance. If somebody has any input or knows of different components that might work please let me know.

unless you're planning on cutting into the body to recess the pipes it's going to look stupid beyond what words could describe. stick some pipe underneath the car in the area you want to do this.. stand a few feet back, then think to yourself "how bad does this look?"
I know everyone wants their car to be a unique snowflake, but there are some things that require more work then others to pull off. This is one of those things.

already looked into it with my mazdaspeed sides and there is not enough clearance to cut out a hole to make it flush, which is the only way it would look good. So unless you plan on cutting into the body panels like stated above, then just stay away.

I'm going to purchase some cheapo side skirts so I can cut a hole into them and not feel so bad about it. And if I need to cut into some of the body panels that will be fine with me just worried about the subframe.

I know just looking for ideas more than opinions though.
But still, there's people stuffing V8s that sure as hell don't belong in cars too.

Only someone who watched too many Fast & Furious movies and thought they were real would route their exhaust under the PPF/driveshaft in the process of putting it out the side, which is what the picture above indicates. How does that make any more sense than routing it out the back? This is ignoring all the other JDM boy racer stylng mods the car is out-fitted in.
Real race cars with side exhausts either pass it through a stripped interior boxed inside sheetmetal or rework the floorpan sheet metal with a tunnel for it to pass through. It doesn't get routed under the floor pan with only 2" of ground clearance.
