Slight oil on rear lead and trailing plugs

Just changed the plugs and I found some high speed glazing on my front lead plug (which I'd figured is due to my bad driving habits) but..... BUT! I found a slight coating of oil on my rear lead and trailing plugs.... the motor was cold when I changed the plugs ( I pulled it out of the garage, backed up 10 feet, then shut it off.

I figured it was normal (oil sitting in the bottom portion of the rear rotor housing)

Is there an early warning sign for oil o ring failure....

If you just backed the car out and turned it off. Then I would say not to worry. But if you were driving it around for an hour, hmmmm. Could have some weak plug wires and or coils for the rear.

As far as early warning signs for oil control ring failure,, Excessive oil consumption and blue exhaust smoke.

Once again you guys (anyone with BHR attached to their post) hit the nail on the head! I had some fatigued plug wires (I replaced them when I changed the plugs...and have some coils on the way too...)

No abnormal oil consumption or blue smoke.

thanks for the reply to my post Easy E-1
