some b-ach backed into me
As careful as anyone could be...**** will happen...be careful!
I picked up my friend for carpooling at her apts and there is a light to get out (its a big complex). I needed to turn right and got behind the Toyota Sienna sitting there ahead of me. Sienna decides to suddenly throw into reverse and gun it...straight into my front bumper.
She gets out and looks at my 8's bumper and says "nothings wrong" and goes to get back into her car...uh uh!!!! Get your *** back here!
So, of course shes got no insurance card (got her license and phone #). Upon calling the # when I got to work..disconnected. Po po report time..she might get a knock on her door
Now, looking at my 8 everything SEEMS ok but i notice that the gap between the top of the bumper assembly and the front of the hood seems a little wider on side than another. Was it like b4...hmmm don't know but now I am freaking cause its no longer perfect. I could tell the bumper had pushed back upon impact cause the rubber in that gap was popped out a bit and the very edge of the bumper (pointy part near the side corner lights) was popped out a bit too. They both pushed back into place easily.
The impact was mabe 3-4 mph...does this mean I need a new front bumper anyways? Like i said..it looks ok but maybe uneven now.
Arghhhhhhhh

Time to get a Mazdaspeed bumper
It may just need to be readjusted like the metal plate that connects the bumper to the car.
Take a pic to show the extent of the damage and we can assess it better...

Wrong section but more importantly NEVER let someone leave the accident without the police showing up first. Both drivers should be there for a meaningful police report.
If she denies being there or worse yet says you rear-ended her you may be in for a fight. Always wait for the police. Good luck.
