some questions about warranty.

i got my RX8 about month ago.
its 06 black RX8 MT
i want to put some aftermarket parts in it.
nothing too major just little stuff like exhaust, intake and suspensions...
maybe exterior stuff.....
my only concern is my warranty.
im just a high school student and if i do sometihng stupid... well u get the point...
i just bought the car and i dont want to avoid it...
what avoids warranty other then goin over 100? ( thats only thing i kno=.=;;

think of it as whatever you do will void that part of your warranty.

at my dealership, intake and exhaust are fine. if you do exterior stuff, mazda won't cover those. suspension, if the spring causes a problem, then your out of luck.

If the install is done correctly you shouldn't have any concerns with warranty being voided. I would however suggest some oil cooler/radiator screens. That's one mod that can save you money in the long term. Replacing one of those oil coolers is pricey and NOT covered under warranty.
If warranty is a big concern for you then I'd wait awhile on any major engine mods.

I've heard many stories were Mazda has given the owner a very hard time about minor modes. Just remember that there are some poor dealers out there and don't expect Mazda corp. to be a big help. There really suck with their support of the RX.
