Spark plugs?

Just wondering what you guys would do. I took the 8 into the dealer a few weeks ago and they told me I need to replace my sparkplugs. My car just whent over 30K and they wanted to do that whole service thing. I only wanted to do a few things so I did not go for the full service. Anyway my question is, dose it really cost 240 bucks for a new set of plugs? Should I just do it myself and save the money? They told me our 8s dont use normal plugs, that's why it cost so much. So what would you guys do?

If you never did any recall or engine no start TSB. then you're still on your *original* plugs.

at 30K. you SHOULD change it.

but, those plugs cost about 80-90 bucks ship to your door. install it yourself takes about 1 hour of time ...... if you take it easy.

Your dealership is actually pretty *honest* I think, cuz usually dealerships charge those plugs at 40 each so its the total of 160. labor they only charge you 80 .... but just do it yourself, save that 100 something for gas or whatever.

and next time, for questions like these PLEASE DO A SEARCH !
