Starter? Battery?

Need help: When i go to start my 8 it cranks and cranks and cranks and then FINALLY starts up, turns over prolly 5-6 times before starting. JW if this is a habitual thing for rx8s to do, maybe something im overlooking.

Is your 8 an 04?

The 04's comes with a weak starter.

There is a TSB for the starter.

exactly the same problem I had a few days ago, starter fixed the problem GL

anyone know where i can get a good cheap starter that will last?

Discounted Mazda OEM parts - most likely much cheaper than your local stealership.
