just checked both fans, didnt find anything. I think the mechanic might took them out at some point. where can I get them?

You can get them at a dealer. Probably not a stock item, but orderable...if you know the part number, which I never figured out. I once went through the book with the parts guy at a dealer, thought we had it figured out, and ordered a couple. They were not the right ones. If anyone figures out the right part number, can you post it here?

As I cited twice earlier in this thread, you can use the engine cover rubber grommets for the air box. They're actually better (more substantial) anyway. Tommy at Rosenthal Mazda sent me a couple when I was ordering some other parts from them like oil filters.

I ordered these and they fit in no problem.
I noticed when they are in the intake tubes are more lined up and I feel more power front the engine too.
