strength of rear end

I am in the process of adding a good amount of power to my 2004 RX8. I will be running about 375 hp and 300+ ft pounds of torque. I am a little concerned about the strength of our rear end. Someone at mazmart told me they are stronger than i think, but i wanted more opinions. any info is appreciated.

You will break the axles first...but not till 400+

Transmissions can be another story...depending on how you drive

If you break an axle give BHR a call as we can certainly help you with that.

Umm... there is a firm that sells this service. They have been to Seven Stock.

PM Charles R Hill

Ask Ray, I think he has their business card.

With that info you can call or look them up on line and discuss any potential problems.

For Rear End, Ray has the set up you need.

i dont think you will have a problem with the rear end.

angel has 650hp (turbo 3 rotor) and afaik, he has no problems with the rear end.

at 800hp iforgothisname (another of those crazy PR guys) changed his rear half shafts to stronger ones.

so i think you are OK.
