Stupid question (Owners Manual Missing)

I have a stupid question I just need answered until my manual arrives would feel more comfortable not waiting for it.

On the oil dipstick....I see 2 lines and 3 dots(space evenly but different intervals). I'm speculating which is why I want confirmation. That the lines represent E and F, are the dots just 2/3, 1/3, and1/4 marks?

when I checked; the oil was between Full line and 2/3rd dot... the difference between cold and hot was negligable in my eyes.

I just want to make sure thats what those markers represent before I just go pouring some oil in unaware.

save a copy for yourself

page 8-13 and 8-14 of the manual which is pages 286 and 287 of the pdf

The distance between L and F on the
dipstick represents the following:
Oil capacity
L (US qt, Imp qt) 1.7 (1.8, 1.5)

l Each mark from the F mark equates
to about 0.5 L (US 0.5 qt, Imp 0.4
qt).
There are 3 marks between L and F.

I'm about a half qt. low (one dot from the full line) About what point does everyone refill? first dot 2nd dot? I know everyone is different comfort zones but If I could get about an avg thatd be appreciated.
