Tail light complication....
Alright before anyone says anything, I have already searched for this topic and researched ways to fix my condensating rear tail light.... The issue I have is that the owner before me drilled a hole in the tail light thinking that it would solve the problem, which it didn't, lol. I called the Mazda dealer to ask for the price of a replacement and they wanna charge me $340 for a stupid piece of plastic that might have the same issue... The guy I talked to had no clue about anything and couldn't answer any questions I asked.... Soo I'm wondering what I should do. I can't buy a new gasket cuz there's a hole, and I don't feel like dropping 300 on a tail light..... Help plz

How large a hole did they drill? For about 10 dollars you can get a fiber glassing kit and just seal the hole if they cut a decent sized one. If its a small hole just use a hot glue gun very carefully, and cut the excess off with an exacto knife when your done.
As for sealing the tail light try a silicone based sealer. Like RTV or just anything that isn't real real heavy. Run a small bead across the top and use a wooden dowel to smooth it out.

Ok so the hole they drilled was small and about 2 millimeters in diameter... I'm assuming I can use a glue gun for that but I'm not sure where/what to seal and put the bead of sealant. Do I place it somewhere on the gasket??
