Today I took out my primary and secondary injectors to be sent off to be cleaned. I didn't realize it would be as difficult as it was to get at these so now I am contemplating disabling the VDI and installing my MM upgraded P2 injectors on the stock tune for the last little bit until the turbo goes in. I basically won't be driving the car after I get the injectors back until the installation appointment. I know that the car will run "bad" but my question is besides trashing my new rx7store high flow cat a bit would the car be drivable for the 200ish miles to go to KDR if I keep the load and RPM down?

Also, to disable the VDI do I just pull out the hose and block it from both ends?

 

You should be fine so long as you don't nail the throttle .
To disable the vdi just pull the vac hose and block the hose .

The P2s don't really do much until 6500+ RPM and relatively high load, so you can driver around normally that way with no serious issues.
