is there diffrents in 4-port and 6 port engine block ?
hi everyone i did searching but could not find my answer so i am asking this question
last weekend my engine died on me and I've been looking at engine blocks , just wanted to know. if there was any differents in the engine block between 4port and 6 port engine block
so my question is if i buy a 6port engine block can i use it on my 4 port car ?
or other way would 4port engine block work on 6 port engine block

I can only assume you want a direct bolt in replacement as easily as possible?
It is possible to make a 6-port work in a car originally equipped with a 4-port but it would require many more parts and much more money.
If you are looking for the quickest, cheapest way to get your car back on the road you need to get a 4-port.
To answer your question directly, yes there is a big difference between the 4 and 6 port renesis. The big one being 2 more ports, which require a different intake manifold, different PCM programming and much much more.
