Question Traction control still on .. even completely off ?

Well I just noticed something ... my base 6 speed 8 felt quicker than the fully loaded GT 6 speed 8 .... weird .... even with DCS and TCS fully off (holding button for a few seconds till skid mark tire light came on). I read some place that it's still on even tho you turn it off ..... errr does anyone have the dyno for the base rx-8 and the GT rx-8 ? Because there is a pretty good difference that I could feel, maybe it's just the weight of the extra stuff in the car or something , but I can definitely feel a difference now that I drove both cars to the max .... Anyone else notice that ? just goto a dealership and test drive a base and gt one , for some reason with the TCS and DCS off , the base feels more revvy and quicker.

ya thats what I'm saying ... the base feels much quicker , but with the GT and DSC and TCS off with the button , it doesn't feel as quick as the base ,which it should because it is off isn't it ?

I always drive with my dsc fully off(unless its raining) and you are right. Even with cz 1.1 installed I can tell a differance. Not big but it's there.
