Transmission oil cooler?

Transmission oil cooler?
Has anyone heard about this? if so, is it worth the buy. A buddy was talking to me about getting "coolers" for different areas of his car (i.e. Oil Cooler, Transmission Fluid Cooler, etc). just checking around.

Automatic transmissions can get longer life with using a transmission cooler such as those, that replaces the stock one found in the radiator or near the radiator (depending on the car).

got it, thanks guys. i noticed one of you are from Cali... have any good times on a good tuner shop in southern cali? looking to get my car tuned up and have some work done on the body kit. Thanks again
