Trying to bleed clutch, Gray fluid comes out !?

do we really have a clue as to what caused this???
maybe at best the seal failed. did that cause the brown pooo?
this is odd, very odd.. i have seen this before, but in a motorcycle clutch vs engine mode.

Bro what did I tell ya, been at this **** as a job since 82, been working on asian cars with my dad for alot longer.
We used to scan the used car ads for broken jap cars to fix up and drive or sell.
Your clutch cyl is only the 200th one I saw do this.

The grey fluid is likely a result of a mix of water contaminated fluid, and wear on the clutch master and slave cylinder's piston and seal. As the pistons wears against the bore, tiny metal particles flake into the fluid and contaminate the fluid, changing the color to a grayish. I recommend bleeding the brakes and clutch hydraulics and eventually replacing them if the fluid continues to become contaminated.
