So we've gone from a series of retarded posts...to retarded responses...NICE!
The engine undercover is there to direct air up into the radiator instead of allowing it to just take the path of least resistance and go under the car. Engine temps will go up without the undertray...so I would recommend you keep it on especially if you are moving to Florida. As for the engine cover that everyone happily said to rip off and throw away... *sigh* Reports on the forum years ago stated that it assisted in the recirculation of air brought up from the undertray to help cool the engine. As stated above when you replace your OEM strut bar with a fancy dancy CF one...the first thing you permanently remove is the cover. None of the people that have replaced the strut bar...and there are many...have related engine failure to it. Personally...I think you're safe without the cover...but the undertray I would keep.
