So this little item was found in my rear console when I bought my 8. It ended up getting set aside because I didn't instantly see where it was supposed to go. It is textured exactly like the plastic the cup holders so it makes me think this IS part of something. I don't want to chunk it without knowing. Does anyone recognize what this is and/or where it goes?



p.s. Its 4¼" long...I guess I should have put a quarter in the photo or something.

Its the end cover for the seat rail.

 

^^^^ those guys are right on the money... Open your passenger's back door, look down by the floor mat. You will see the two metal sliding brackets for the passenger's seat. This one covers the one closest to the door. Mine falls down every time I vacuum my car, I tried gluing it, tried melting a little bit of the plastic nothing worked for me... but you don't really need it, it just bothers me when I know something is wrong with my car
