i have to revive this thread. when i installed the pulleys there was no squeeking of the belts. well for the past two mornings when i go to work (5:30 am) there is a loud squealing after i pull out of my driveway. i think it is just the pulleys not having grip cause they are stiff from the cold. but should i tighten them or what?

tighten them, I installed them, shoooooooooot them in with air gun, they dont squeel or anything +1 whp

No......don't be an @ss!!

You can tighten the belts as the may be loose.
I assume you know the belts should have no more than 1/2 inch deflection, or as some put it.......you shouldn't be able to turn the belt 90 degrees.

If you go to tighten the nuts on the pulleys, make sure you tighten to spec using a torque wrench, don't use an air gun!

yup resurrection rather then create a thread and have people go "Search" and since im experiencing the same problem i need input.
