the parts will swap over is all i mean. im thinking you may need to reflash the PCM if yours never had the cruise in the first place, but the steering wheel parts are interchangeable. Ive converted my AT steering wheel to MT steering wheel and removed the paddle shifters.

no you cannot use an automatic PCM for a manual car or vice versa. just try to swap the wheels and see if it works . You will have to have an older manual PCM flashed for the cruise option or find a USDM one and match it to your car. You can flash with versatuner if you have the paid version.
The wiring is already there on all cars so you will not have to wire anything unless you need to bypass the signal with a ground from the PCM connector which is not likely if you have the right one.

Rastarx-8 any tips on doing that? I bought a red interior for my 2007 rx-8 and took the wheel too, but it is automatic. Do I need to move any parts over or can I just take off the paddle shifters and use it as is?
