urgent, need help. please!!!

hi guys, i really need help and inputs here.
last night, i drove my car, RX8 2004, manual.
when i turned car car on, i let it on for 5 minutes(warmed up), and i saw the battery light was on, but everything else was working. so i decided to drive around, and after driving my car for 30 minutes (20 miles), my power steering started disabled, lsd light was on, every light was on (except for oil). i parked my car, and try to rev it up, i thought i can charge up the battery. i finally turned off the car, and i couldn't start the car at all afterwards. every time i try to start it, it sound :" click, click". i thought it was battery. so i asked my friends to push it so i can stall it by putting it in the first gear. it did started, but after more than 5 minutes, all lights were on, and speedometer went crazy, and it finally died by itself, and i couldn't start it. i decided to leave it. i checked all the belts, it was good. i need some advice, do you guys know what is going on? is it flooded? (i always warm up the car), is it the battery? (it wil be recharged, and i can run the radio while the car is not running). pleae help me oout here.
thank you

the battery light was on
The light looks like a battery, but it's the charging system warning light. Your charging system is kaput. Since the belts were OK, you most likely need a new alternator.

i second on that for the generator. ur battery could be running the radio, but not have enough juice to crank over te motor.

if u charged the battery and was able to start the car...ur car should still die out from a bad alternator if u dislocate the battery terminal while its running... a simple test to perform.

ok guys, i just got a phone call from mazda, they said that it was the battery and the alternator, but i have a question though. i don't know how our engine connected, but if those two the problems, do they cause the engine off while running? i can start the engine by pushing it and enter the first gear, and i could also listen to the radio while the engine is off.
last night, the way the engine went off was like it was lacking of gas. all the meter went crazy.
what do you guys think?

what r the signs of flooded?

Yes. You need electricity to power spark plugs. Your battery will run out of power if it isn't recharged by the alternator. Your engine will stumble and die.

I've never flooded, but the signs are it won't start.

hmm

Alternator or dead cell in the batt. have AAA send out a tech to test your battery. If it's a dead cell pay them to replace it. Yes they overcharge you a little but they guarantee the battery for up to 5 years which you know no battery should really last. If the battery dies for any reason in that 5 year time span they take care of you by coming out and jumping or replacing the battery on their dime with no cost to you! Cheers!
