i'm experiencing vibration at 100-110 km/h. the entire steering wheel vibrates.
could it be because it's in sixth gear now and doing about 3000 rpm ?

 

Naw, 6th gear at 3000 rpm won't cause that. First, get your tires balanced. That's a common cause of steering wheel vibration at that speed.

Before you spend money for balancing make sure the tire pressures are all good and that they are even. Low and/or uneven tire pressures are also a common cause of vibration at highway speeds.

 

Yeah, and check the lug nuts, too.

 

U posted a buckled rims thread... that's more than likely ur problem along with the alignment. scale 9/10. i've experienced this with other cars. i've done up to 7500 RPM in 6th and the 8 feels solid and beautiful still.
