Vibration Fix for SIX SPEED Auto Trans RX-8's 2006-2008

Some customers may complain of body vibration occurring during light acceleration between 45-60 MPH (1600-1900 RPM).

This symptom is caused by resonance between the engine and the transmission and occurs during 6th gear lock-up.

So if you have a 6 speed Auto RX-8 and are feeling vibrations there is a TSB to rectify this issue.

One of the reasons I am posting this information is because this modification is NOT A RECALL, but will only be done if the Owner complains of the vibration to their Mazda Dealer.

Also, the new and modified parts are those from the 2009 Auto RX-8, like the Starter Motor and Torque Converter, etc.

If your dealer is not aware of this rectification, politely and diplomatically suggest that you might have heard there was a TSB or Mazda repair procedure to fix your vibration.
