Warranty headache, need rebuild.
So yesterday my 8 gave me quite a scare, Mazda is saying that I need a rebuild. 0 compression in rotor one (great!). So anyways, I got a call back from the tech today, he said that I'm still under that 8 year, 100,000mi extended warranty BUT, apparently I need to give proof of maintenance on the vehicle. He wants records of every oil change I've had since I got the car (a year ago). I change my own oil every 3,000mi so thats a bit of a problem. He said to try my best to source some sort of paper work proving that I use the correct oil etc...I think I may only be able to find the receipts for my last oil change....
I don't want to lose my baby, what should I do?

Did you buy your oil from a store?
Did you pay with a credit card or a debit card?
If so, go back and have them pull the history of your credit card, and print out all your receipts.
BC.

BC,
I thought of that too but even if I pull them they will only say Autozone or Napa or where ever and the amount, Mazda is apparently concerned that I used the incorrect weight oil/filter. It won't detail what I actually purchased from the store.
I always use a K&N HP-1008 filter and non-synthetic 5w20 (I know that 5w30 is better and my friends in Japan use it but 5w20 is what Mazda USA wants for the warranty.)
I'm waiting on my mechanic to send me what he has so I can give it to the dealership along with my receipts. The dealer will send it off to Mazda I guess and then go from there. It sucks because I'll be in limbo all weekend.
