Weird Idle sound when I start the car and release the clutch
#26
so not to be a thread grave digger, but I am having this issue too when engaging the clutch and releasing. Sound seems to "disappear" when I engage the clutch. The clutch is less than 2K miles old. Is this a normal sound, or should I just get the parts and have the dealer fix it for me (it doesn't look pricey at all).

its normal, its the sound of bearings inside your transmission spinning.
it will be very costly if not covered under warranty.
