What Is The Best Oil To Use For An 04 RX8?

I have heard so many different types work best, read so many different opinions....I am lost!

Can anyone help me figure out which oil is the best to use for the RX8?

I recommend A-1 for 2004-2006. After that I move up to Thousand Island Dressing for 2007-2009.

Well... Here's an answer that I have come up with after searching. It is WD-40.

lol people are so dick in this thread. how did you start a thread? ive been on for about a week and dont know how to find it? as for the oil get royal purple 5w-30 or anything that you read from the thread should be good what ever you do dont get 10 or 20 w (to thick in my opinion)

i use 5w-20 from mazda..i will most likely be using 5w-30 since i have a higher mileage

Since the 2004 is getting on in years I recommend a light monounsaturated oil, with high amounts of Omega fatty acids.
