Where to buy front wheel well air deflector?
My front passenger wheel mud guard fell into the wheel and got chewed up, so I bought a replacement.
The replacement part is the big piece in #3 in the diagram, but is missing the long bar and long rubber piece that sandwich the mud flap.
The part number on the rubber piece is still visible: F15156 114 P TE.
I haven't been able to find it. I see it in in many of the diagrams, but I never see it with a part number. I found a diagram that shows the part number for the three screws, but not for the part they hold on!
How important is that piece (for airflow or for bracing?) and does anybody know a source for it?
I found another thread that mentioned F151-56-114, but they were describing an entirely different piece.

You see what I am talking about in the picture, right?
Here is another picture that shows the part number for the bolts, but not for the pieces they attach.
Bottom left of diagram, mud flaps are 56-130 and 56-140A. The bolt to hold on my missing piece is 9CF60-05168. There is no part number listed for the metal bar or the rubber piece.

With all the aftermarket parts on your car, I am baffled by the question.
I bought the aftermarket mud guard because it was $28 shipped versus $78 shipped (cheapest price I found) and there was no indication that the OEM part came with the air dam and the aftermarket did not. It otherwise seems to be a perfectly adequate replacement part.
I also bought an LRB Speed aluminum under tray, which seems like a nice improvement to my broken piece of Mazda plastic and came with all necessary connectors. It was also cheaper than the Mazda plastic, but that is not why I bought it.
Someone recently backed into my driver side front bumper so the bumper was replaced through insurance. They did a crappy job attaching the bumper (it was raised on the passenger side) so I took it back once to have the bumper attached correctly and some missing connectors installed in the passenger wheel well. The result is that 2 months later the passenger mud guard fell down into the wheel and ground up, and in looking at that I found two lug nuts are missing off of the passenger wheel they removed to fix the bumper.
To be fair, the under tray and some of the other plastic not affected by the accident was not in great shape. I'm taking care of that now, but have no interest in that shop doing any non-insurance work and really don't want them touching my car again. I have some extra lug nuts and $30 for the mud flap was not worth the hassle and risk of taking it back to that shop.

When it comes to body pieces generally OEM is the best unless you want fitment issues, missing details, etc. My body pieces are all OEM. But you shoudl be able to remove that piece from the old one and attach to the aftermarket one.

Unfortunately that piece is destroyed, so I need a replacement.
