I think mine is a Bosch as well that came with my AEM UEGO wideband gauge. I compared the reading against the actual PCM readings using my accessport. They are spot on.
As for routing it, a good place is from under the dash, behind the radio, under the ashtray and down thru the shifter hole by the tranny.

i agree totally,
but is there a way to just tap the stock front " wideband " instead of tapping a whole new one?
i know the PLX type widebands for supras, are able to replace OEM sensors, but stills end the wideband, and oem signals.
so in theory, couldnt you just splice into the stock wires and send that to a wideband guage, and call it a day?

Also, to be honest, I like having a second Wideband O2 sensor. Mainly because Im not tampering with the stock WO2 sensor at all...which will ensure that my ECU can be tuned properly. Because if i sent MM my logs and the AFRs were all messed up, then his job will be x1000 harder and the maps would be terrible.

Maybe...but the data is read off the AFR gauge is through the amount of power going through it (if i remember correctly)...so by splicing the wiring...you may not get quality readings.

haha, I'm not doing it unless i know it's going to work safely and properly, I was hoping someone might have a better idea on that, i might make a whole new thread regarding the issue. Seems like it should work though.

I see the aem kit comes with a bosche sensor I'm looking at getting one but what unit should I get?

I've had my innovate lc-1 wideband using a bosch sensor for 9k miles. I seriously considered an ntk sensor, but I could find a gauge to accomodate it that I liked. From other responses before I chose to get it, I thought the sensor would have been fried by now, but it's lasting me well and is reading pretty accurately. It serves me well as a monitoring device.

You guys can listen to me or not. That's your choice. But just about every single time I've been in the field tuning, I've seen widebands (the Innovate included as well as the AEM being the worst) using the Bosche sensors being inaccurate. Some of them were a pretty gauge but just flat-out junk. In fact, that's one of the core reasons why I normally refuse to use an owner's wideband to tune over mine because most of the time I can't trust them if they're not using an NTK sensor.
I'm not just blowing smoke around. There's a rationale behind it.

I use an old school PLX M-200 w/ an NTK L2H2 5V sensor. I'm on my second sensor which I purchased in late 2006. The first one lasted me three years with lots of leaded race gas being beat on it (that's one of the killers of O2 sensors, by the way). This 2nd one I started using in '07 with no lead and it's still good. I've used it to calibrate dyno widebands as well as verify the inaccuracy of others.
