wideband o2 placement

wideband o2 placement
I recently installed my turbo and I was going to install the wideband sensor before the cat but now that seems impossible because of the thickness of the o2 housing. I was reading a different thread were mazda maniac said not to mount the sensor behind the cat unless you know how the cat affects your afr. Since I do not know how it affects the afr that means I can not place it there. If not there then where, should I remove the cat completley or should I buy a high flow and mount it with the little space thats there. Any helpl would be greatly appreciated.
