Wideband routing

ok so i just purchased a turbo xs exhaust and it has a bung already on it for a wideband O2 sensor welded onto it...it is right before the exhaust pipe bolts to the y pipe by the mufflers...is this an ok place? if i get a high flow cat or race pipe later will i need to move it?

also...i haven't received my aem eugo yet but it is in the mail...what is the best way to route everything from under the car into the cabin to the gauge? i have searched...sorry if i didn't find it...thanks for the help in advance!

mine is on a catless midpipe.

I have the uego, and I don't know if the wire is long enough to run to the back of the car.

Yeah, you just get a big bolt and that will plug it up.

You can extend your wideband, just cut the wire, and crimp in a 3 or 4 foot extension on each of the wires inside the line. Make sure you use weathertight crimps if the connections are going to be outside the cabin. Easiest way to route inside is through the shifter hole, but it will take a lot of wire. The way i did it was I zip tied it to the top of the tranny, heat shielded the part that came closest to the cat, then run it to a hole I made near the trunk release cable on the driver's side firewall.

Your wideband instructions will say the optimal mounting location. But generally optimal location is dependent on temperature. Ideally placed in a location that is not too hot. Stock O2 narrowband location is good. Preferably before the Cat, but theoretically it shouldn't make a difference.
