Winter storage

How many people drive their cars vs storing in the winter.

For those who store what prep work to you do

Tks

Many threads on this already, Roger. Here are a few:

Interestingly, in a recent discussion with a Mazda tech, I was told that total hibernation (battery out, no starts all winter) is a bad idea for a rotary engine because the apex seals "dry out". I always start mine and warm it up to operating temps at week-to-ten day intervals, so he said I was in no danger- and especially since I use premix. But this was the first time I've heard of apex seals "drying out" during storage. Wondering if he knew what he was talking about?

Welcome to the forum! The search tool is a powerful ally.
