Would an RX8 bellhousing bolt right up to the Miata 6 spd tranny?

I have an FC race car (BP13b).
I have a broken RX8 6 spd tranny.
I have been looking around for another but all are pretty expenssive.
A miata 6 speed looks the same and has the same gears and are about half the price.
Could it be possible that the RX8 bellhousing will bolt right up to the Miata tranny?
If this is possible I could ave a lot of $$

the shifter is not in the right place to put a Miata trans in an RX-8

I know where you can geta freshly built RX-8 trans (by a Mazda tech) for a decent price, PM me

edit: the trans bell-housing is integral to the main trans case not a bolt-on, the MX-5 tail-housing is different with the POF mounting on the opposite side of the RX- vehicles, so the shifter position is irrelevant because that’s determined by the tail-housing and the shifter components relative to it.

The tranny is going into a FC (86-91 RX7).
and is a racecar (no interior) so it doesn't matter where the shifter is.
