FYI, I tried the contact cleaner when I had this problem. It did work, for a while, then the problem came back. I eventually just cut that gray sunofabitch connector out and soldered the wires directly. A little solder, a bit of shrink-wrap, Voila - permanent fix. It's just as cheap and *almost* as easy as the contact cleaner. And Wayyyyy more satisfying. Snip. Snip. Snip. Ahhhh......

so you just cut out the connector completely and soldered the wires together? I am going to try cleaning my connector again but any help with the soldering would be appreciated.

ive been hearing a lot or rx8 cars stalling. whats up with that? i just got mine 2 weeks ago. dont really know much about rotary engines, so im sure if i have a prob, ill let dozer know about it!
