[Help] A/C failure?
So I havent driven my rx8 in the last few days and i went to drive it today and the a/c would not blow cold, only hot air.
its a 2004 rx8, manual. i already did the soldering fix for the **** and i checked to make sure that wasnt the issue.
The compressor seems to be turning on when the a/c light is on, if im hearing it right along with a second fan(prob the condensor fan).
i cant read the high valve psi becuz i dont have the guages, but i did buy a diy can of r134a and on idle/no compressor it says my psi is around 65 & on idle when the compressor is on it jumps down to about 15psi
Any suggestions, low freon? part went bad?

Depends on several factors, ambient air temp, humidity, etc. Try this for starters:

I don't really know too much about working on my rx8, nor really any technical stuff.
So that info doesn't really help me too much, i do appreciate it though.
I will note that if i turn the **** to hot it will slowly get hot so the blend door doesn't seem like it would be the problem.
and my a/c low manifold does keep pressure, so a leak doesn't seem plausible.
i can tell you its anywhere from 100-111 degrees outside
I'm at a lose and the only mazda dealer around me is backed up, so if anyone else has any ideas or maybe a fellow rx8 owner that has the tools&equipment to check a/c that lives in the palm springs,ca area that can possibly help me
**edit, i hear that the a/c low line should be cold and the a/c high should be hot...ill note that both of them are hot, the high being way hotter....also releasing some of the freon from the low(the freon is really hot)
