'04 won't start

Car wouldn't start on the weekend. Original thought was that it was flooded as I'd accidentally turned it off quickly after moving it (first time in years making that mistake) into the garage.

Tried the de-flood method as in the manual, no luck after trying for a few hours.

Finally had to get car towed to garage.

Original diagnosis was that the plugs, wires and coils were bad. Plus lasted replaced about 30K km ago. Wires were apparently cracked.

However, now after replacing all those, car still won't start at dealership.

My feeling is that the compression might be low -maybe from carbon buildup so it's not spinning.

Had the same issue about 3 years ago, and they cleaned the engine, replaced coils and it worked.

Anything else I should asking them to do or check? Car is just shy of the 8 year mark.

So is the title wrong? It will start now?

If you are just asking for maintenance items, lots of resources out there on those.

turns out it was so badly flooded, it took them a long time to get it to start after clearing out the gas etc.

Got the car back, seems to be running normal again.

Man, these cars like plugs and coils.
