Unhappy 05 nothing works!! dash wont even light up. Need help.

i have a 2005 rx8 and none of the dash lights come on(actually only the light that indicates your lights are on, and the turning signal lights and those only work through the hazards) the battery is good. the car was flooded (partially under water) the guys who owned it before me put a new wiring harness in and also all the electrical pieces in the steering column like the ignition switch, the key reader, ect. ect.. i checked all the fuses and all the relays all good. dont know where to go from here.

your battery or wire harness or fuses or grounds or the lights themselves or etc etc something isnt right. you have to trace it all out with a multimeter

i was thinking a ground. would anybody have a wiring diagrams, or if the know of a thread that has some already? Thanks!

And you checked the fuses in the kick panel... such as the 15A ROOM fuse?

I can spend all night talking you though everything to help narrow it down, but if you know how to read electrical diagrams, it'll be quicker for you to just glance through it and narrow it down.

awesome! im not a pro with schematics but i have some friends that could help me. but still, any helpfull thoughts on what it could be would be better that where im at now.

i had this happen to me last 2 years ago, (no lights on dash but still got sound) i just unpluged the battier for 5 min, when i hooked it up it work. no more issues.

well i dont even get sound. no fuel pump nothing. i think its needs more then that, but ill try it.

Check the "comp" fuses under the hood?

swaped the comp fuses....still nothing

i think it maybe ur main fuse, 120a check n replace a new one
