05 Weird headlight aiming issue.

I just put on my snow tires on the weekend and I've noticed once and a while my headlights will be aimed straight down and i cant see.
But sometimes their aimed half down. Or sometimes their perfectly aimed straight.

My snow tires are 17" with the same sidewall size of 45 stock 18" rims. So technically my cars lowered an inch more.

The indicating light on the dash has not come on.
I'm thinking my new tires has thrown it off is it possible?
For this morning for example I turned my car on and their aimed straight down 5 feet in front of the car.

Any suggestions or future experience appreciated. thanks.

PS. I've searched with no luck.

if you have the HID's then there are ride height sensors on the front and rear suspension, you should just check to make sure these are still hooked up

They are electronic...they have hall effect type sensors front and rear that tell the ECU the position.....and they throw a CEL if they aren't working

Little update.
I confirmed the light does work on my tach.
Last two days they have been aimed perfect.

Starting to think they are faulty & some day when it really pisses me off ill take them off the car and inspect them for corrosion inside.
