1st to 2nd gear issues
I have an 2004 GT, I have had 3 engines on the third I purchased a new clutch and mazda installed it for me. Recently I have been having issues changing from 1st to 2nd quickly. I have driven this car for years and never had issues with it, as i took it out for the summer this year it started. Thinking I should change my gear oil i did exactly that. First off it was nice and smooth but after driving it for a day, back to the grinding.
- Only grinds while higher RPM
- After tranny oil was changed high RPM wasnt even an issue
- Used cheap tranny fluid just to flush it out, replacing with redline within the week
- New Clutch
- Driving normally has no issues changing gears
it is not the way i drive the car as it has never been an issue. Any Ideas or thoughts? I was thinking a syncro could be on its way out.
