2004 engine help

i have a 2004 rx8 8th vin is n with low compression so i was looking around to find a replacement engine and found this one on ebay Mazda rx8 motor auto trans vin N 2009, 2010,2011 | eBay and was wondering if it would fit please help

No it is for a 2009-2011 rx8.

Why spend 2500 on a motor you cant be sure of anyway? Find somewhere that can rebuild yours or buy a rebuilt one. I don't know your location so its hard to recommend a place.

For not too much more you can get a 0 miles quality rebuilt engine from Mazmart. By far a better option.

If you have an automatic, then you need 2004-2005 4-port engine (was only used in the automatics for those years). If you have a manual, you can get any 2004-2008 6 port engine, which is all manuals and 2006-2008 automatics.
