2004 mazda rx8 wont start
Hi i have a 2004 mazda rx8, bought it recently 104000 miles on it. Whats wrong with it is the other day i tried out the alarm to see if it worked, then i turned it off with the keyless entry. The day after that i drove it around the block no problems. Then next day tried to start it and it wouldnt crank or turn over at all. thought it was the battery but i had i checked and it was good the starter and alternator are also good. Now when i try to start it lights in the car are dim, guages door open lights all that, and the radio wont even turn on, checked all fuses and (aside from the black breakerboxes) there all good idk whats wrong with it i need some help, any ideas let me know please. thanks

2004 RX-8 starting issues
Flooded? How far is "around the block"? I had a few issues if I started the engine and moved the car a short distance and then stopped it. Both occasions required a tow to the dealership. Once was my fault, once was a "brand X" mechanic.
I also occasionally have starting issues if I drive for a long time, stop the engine and try to restart it when it's still hot.

If you turned off the car without the engine being warmed your car is probably flooded. There are certain things you need to do to start a flooded car. Perhaps the easiest way is to push start the car.
