Hey there fellow RX8 owners, I have a quick question...I have a '06 RX8 Shinka with 31000 miles on it, and it's started shaking when accelerating from first gear, and continues until you get around 4500 RPM's, then it stops. It's not a tire balance issue, it almost feels like it's not firing on all rotors. It idles rough, and is burning gas pretty quickly (I am NOT hard on this vehicle). It does NOT have a check engine light on, and I'm not sure if plugging it into a reader would do anything at all. I only run premium fuel in it, and it's had all its regular scheduled maintenance, oil changes etc. Wish I knew more about the rotary engine. Any help would be, well, helpful!

 

check spark plugs, ignition coils most likely need to be replaced if they haven't been done yet
