The thing just won't fit in. Starting to get hot here in arizona already and need to get this fixed.

 

Did you remove that from your car or is it new? You sure it's for the right generation RX-8?

 

It came off of my car. One day it just turned left more than it should but I can't get it to go back in.

 

I think there is an error between the **** and the seat of the car.

 

Haha I hope so. There isn't a piece inside where the **** goes that could have broke is there?

 

 

I've tried every direction and with more than enough force. Wtf could this be

 

I figured it out the piece inside is like unclipped behind or broken I reached in from the ashtray area and was able to get the **** on but it's definitely loose. As long as I got AC for now I'll figure it out later

 

Did you ever find a long term solution to this? Same thing happened to me.

If it's not quite as demolished as ^^, you can use a fuel injector grommet (in my case it came from a Toyota 4efte/5efe engine). It's exactly the right size, and has held that **** stem together for the last 10 years or so on my car.

 

the inside of mine looks different, not sure if this is normal?
