After battery reset, low rpm at idle and car dies
Because of the audio display scrolling problem,
I had my local mechanic to reset the battery while they work on oil change
Ever since then, low rpm below 500 occurs and car dies whenever I stop for the red light or stop sign.
I took it back to shop but they said only thing they did was resetting the battery.
I am going to Mazda tomorrow but can anyone guess a potential solution?

your car is relearning fuel trims. give it a few drive cycles and it should be fine

There are many threads about this issue. When you unplug the battery it resets everything even the ECU that controls the engine. It will "learn" everything all over again and there is a cycle that you can do to meet all parameters, but basically just drive it around and it will fix the issue. May take a couple of days, but no need to take it to Mazda.
