after oil change, CEL flashes when at ACC, stop after start
2005 RX8 A/T 70K miles, recalled engine at 2011, 4k miles on new engine
Well I just got the oil changed today(first time after I have my '8), switched from 5w 20 to 5w 30. after that I noticed:
When I switch the key at ACC position and don't start the car yet, if I keep this status longer than 1min(usually when I am setting the GPS or changing disc), the CEL will flash few time(3 perhaps), then stopped, then I start the car and the light turns off.
for the first time I didn't pay any attention to it. but found this happened now and then, when at ACC and before starting the car.
Anyone has an idea?
thanks in advance!

I don't believe that's an issue? I think that is standard/typical. If you were seeing it while driving, it would be a misfire, but there is no misfires with the car off.
I can tell you, changing the oil, and/or changing weights, will not affect the CEL by themselves. If there is a connection to the oil change, then something else happened. Something like overfilling the oil and it got on the MAF or something got disconnected, etc...
