Alternator Wiring Harness

Alternator Wiring Harness
So, the main lead on my alternator caught on fire tonight... I'm wondering what the part number is because the dealer was playing stupid and "didn't know" and thus tried to get me to bring it in.
on a side note, engine off = 12.3V, engine on (flaming wire and all) = 14.4V. so I'm assuming that my alternator is OK and not the cause of this... amirite?

At what RPM? Check the voltage at higher engine speeds, you may see an uncontrolled voltage situation, 17-18 volts (or more). This would indicate a voltage regulator problem, easiest repair is an alternator replacement as Team suggests.

Only checked at idle. I'll check at various RPMs and see what happens tho. Thanks guys.
