Anyone in VA with a compression tester?
Is there anyone in the virginia area with a rotary compression tester that would be willing to test my car? Let me know how much you'd like. I live in Staunton which is about 2 hours from Richmond so I don't mind driving.
I'm getting some pretty bad oil blow by at WOT but no hot start issues, have a vacuum leak and running lean but trying to rule out if this engine I had rebuilt 10k miles ago was done incorrectly.
I just dont have 200 dollars for a tester or the area and tools to really do it myself

Not sure if Ray Whitney is back in business but worth a try. (Check out the thread: https://www.rx8club.com/ne-rx-8-foru...rginia-253211/). Otherwise Brown Mazda.

VA compression testing
Did you find someone who does rotary compression testing in Virginia? I'm in Leesburg (Loudoun county) and looking for someone myself. Supposedly Brown Mazda in Chantilly does, but my conversation with the service department left me suspicious that they were going to use a regular compression tester and assume I don't know the difference...Ya know, cause I'm a girl -.-
