Auto Lock Question

Auto lock for the front passenger seat stopped working

so pressing the lock/unlock button on either of the front doors does not toggle the ock for the passenger door, have to manually do it

even locking with the remote gives the beep sound but the passenger door does not get locked

Hall mazda is chrging 100bucks just to take a look t it

does any one have an idea what would be causing this ? and how to fix it ?

Check the lock actuator circuit; fuse, wiring, etc.

I also have an auto lock question, except it is not the same question as the OP.. Do our cars have the auto-lock feature whereas we get to a certain speed and the locks would come on by themselves? Mine doesn't do that.

don't think so, I don't lock my doors when I get in and they are still unlock when I go to get out.
