Bad Engine?

Bad Engine?
Damn it! My car was running just fine until 3 weeks ago. I was driving, and check engine light started to flash. I was only about 1 mile from home so I got it home. It was hesitating alot, but I made it. Cat was glowing orange when I got home. I replaced all of the ignition coils, but it wouldn't start, so I assumed it was flooded. I popped the clutch and got it running. Check engine light went off and has been off since then. Since that time, after driving the car, especially on the highway, it wants to bog down and not run right. It's a bit rougher, has less power, and slightly hesitates. It only does this after I have been driving it for a longer distance or once I get off the highway after being at higher speeds. I know what you are thinking. Bad cat. Nope. I replaced it today and it's still doing the same thing. I also noticed that with the new cat, it gets louder after driving it on the highway. WTF??? Any suggestions? I just replaced plugs 4 months ago and everything was fine until I blew my coil. I replaced all of them. No codes since. Could the coils be ****? Injector? Bad engine? What do you guys think? Any advice on what to do next? I'm really trying to avoid taking it to the dealer. Damn bloodsuckers! Oh, and also, the exhaust and engine tend to shudder and vibrate after being driven on the highway or for longer distances, but not on short trips or when I first start it.

For the luv of all that's holy there is an epidemic of wall of text around this forum.
I'm blaming people posting from their cell phones.
Boredom is the devils work, so I fix for you.
I'm guessing you installed the coils wrong.
You shouldn't have had a flood situation after changing the coils.
Everything being equal installing new coils should have allowed it to fire right up.
So you either installed the coils wrong or something else is the problem.
I would start with the coils and checking that you hooked the plug wires up correctly and while you are at it inspect the spark plugs.

I was only about 1 mile from home so I got it home.
However it was hesitating a lot, and the Cat was glowing orange by the time I got home.
I replaced all of the ignition coils.
Now it wouldn't start, so I assumed it was flooded. I popped the clutch and got it running.

When my cat clogged, it fried my front O2 sensor, didn't throw a code but it clearly wasn't running right. And you clearly fried your cat the first time.
Is the replacement an OEM replacement? New or used?

As far as I know, cell phones still have Return keys and punctuation. People just need to realize that they will get more help if their requests are clear and concise.
