brake noise

Can someone tell me which brake pads are best to stop the squealing out of the Hawk pads and the new oem pads from mazda. Thanks.

I don't know about the Hawk pads but the new OEM pads don't squeal and they're free under the TSB warranty.

I had mine changed under the warranty and they still squeal, they said that they cant fix it because it is the material that the pads are made out of.

Hawk pads will squeal more.

Use Porterfield Brake Pads. Ceramic

They've been in racing for over 20 years.

razz; which porterfield brake pad would you suggest for quietest street use?; there looked as if there were several choices on the site you posted; why do u think hawks are no good b/c i was just about to throw down for a set; thanks

I have no noise with my Hawk pads. I did have a problem with the shims making noise. Glued them in place fixed it

I run the Hawk Performance Ceramic (without glued shims are they're virtually silent, with low dust. I did bed them in properly as well.
