broken ground wire on positive cable?

broken ground wire on positive cable?

there's a wire that is connected to the positive terminal. mine is broken off however and im just trying to figure out what it goes to. it looks like a ground but i dont know where is actually leads to. if anyone could just walk out side and look or take a picture to show me. thank you

How about you show us a picture of what you are talking about. Would be far easier.

Also, there shouldn't be a wire going from (+) to ground....very dangerous....

i just meant it "looks" like a ground... here you go

At first glance I dont really see anything missing. That positive terminal goes from the terminal itself, to the power steering fuse, then to the rest of the power harness. I am sure others will chime in, I could be missing something obvious. It just looks like someone overtorqued the nut that connects from the battery terminal clamp to the EPS fuse and it cracked.

its just the broken connector. it went to something and i am really only curious. it isnt affecting performance or anything. ive had the car for months and havent noticed it until now

Im with paimon.soror...looks normal. Can you point out what you believe is "broken" about this positive terminal connection?

There is nothing like that on the positive battery terminal. Looks like something someone added and broke off.

does appear to be a terminal lug or something under the nut, but if you don't have a loose wire lying about ignore it

If your car starts, then your good to go. No damage cable or wire.

Well then I'll let it be it just seemed a little out of place so I didn't know if something wasnt actually plugged up that I never noticed
